Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of MeetVoice software (Chrome extension and desktop application) and the meetvoice.app website, operated by Oleksii Herasymchuk, Ukraine.

By downloading, installing, or using MeetVoice, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

License

MeetVoice is licensed, not sold. Subject to payment of applicable fees:

  • Trial: 30 minutes of use per device, no payment and no API key required — speech recognition is included.
  • Subscription plans: Starter (€9/month — 5 hours of translation per month), Pro (€19/month — 20 hours per month), Max (€39/month — 30 hours per month, with studio voices). Translation hours are metered as wall-clock speech-recognition time. Voiceover is included in every plan. Voiceover is a synthesized voice; Max adds studio voices in supported languages, with a monthly limit; beyond the limit, or when a studio voice is unavailable, the standard voice is used. The translation quota belongs to the license and renews every month on the day and at the time of the original purchase (UTC); in a month without that day, it renews on the month's last day. Yearly subscriptions, which are no longer sold, receive the monthly quota on the same schedule. A plan change updates the quota immediately and keeps the renewal date. For licenses purchased before October 8, 2026, the quota keeps resetting at the start of each calendar month until the first renewal date on or after October 8, 2026. The number of devices is not limited.
  • Quota exhaustion: when the monthly translation hours are used up, translation pauses until the quota renews. You can upgrade your plan to continue right away.
  • Licenses purchased before version 2.0: include the Pro plan's monthly quota (20 hours of translation per month).

You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the software except as expressly permitted by law.

Intellectual property

The MeetVoice software — including its source and compiled code, its translation prompts and model instructions, and its user interface — is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

Except where we have agreed otherwise in writing, or where mandatory law expressly allows it, you may not:

  • copy, extract, decompile, or otherwise reproduce the software's code, prompts, or model instructions beyond what is necessary to install and use MeetVoice, including by submitting them to AI tools to analyze, reconstruct, or rewrite them;
  • use the software or any part of it to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models;
  • use the software, or outputs generated with it on an automated or systematic basis, to build, train, or evaluate a competing product or service.

These restrictions do not limit how you use the translations, subtitles, and transcripts of your own conversations.

Payments

Subscriptions are purchased through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. Plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) until canceled; you can cancel at any time via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, and access continues until the end of the paid period. Payment, invoicing, tax, refunds, EU withdrawal rights, and chargebacks are governed by the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms (including rules for digital services delivered immediately).

We do not store your card details on meetvoice.app.

API keys

MeetVoice works without any API keys — speech recognition and translation are included in the trial and in every plan. If you run your own MeetVoice server with your own speech-recognition provider key, you are responsible for compliance with that provider's terms and for any charges they bill to your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse MeetVoice, attempt to bypass license checks or usage quotas, or share one license beyond reasonable personal or team use. Do not use the software in violation of applicable law or Google Meet's terms. The software is provided for lawful communication assistance, not for guaranteed transcription accuracy in regulated or safety-critical contexts.

Disclaimer

MeetVoice, including the built-in speech-recognition service, is provided "as is" on a best-effort basis, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation and without an uptime guarantee. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to the amounts you paid for MeetVoice in the twelve months before the claim (or €9 — the price of one month of the Starter plan — if you used only the trial).

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
